Information you share with us
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, service interest and message. If you contact Kim by email, phone or text, we receive the details you choose to share, which may include hair photos and appointment questions. Please do not send payment card details or sensitive medical information through the contact form.
When you book through Square, Square collects the information needed to manage your appointment and any payment, under its own privacy policy. This website does not collect or store your payment card details.
How your information is used
We use your information to respond to questions, discuss suitable services, arrange and manage appointments, provide client support and meet applicable business or legal obligations. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing messages or confirm an appointment.
Service providers and information sharing
Netlify hosts this website and processes contact-form submissions. Submissions are stored in the Netlify account used to manage the website and may be sent to the business by email notification. Square provides appointment booking and payment services. Email, phone and text providers process communications sent through their services.
We do not sell the personal information you provide through the contact form. We share it with service providers as needed to operate the website, respond to you and manage appointments. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect against fraud, misuse or a security threat.
Website data, fonts and external links
Hosting and form-service providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details and request logs for website delivery, security and spam prevention. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive technical information when those fonts are requested.
Links to booking, maps and reviews take you to external services with their own data practices. You can review the privacy policies for Netlify, Square and Google.
Retention and security
Inquiry and client information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the client relationship and meet applicable business or legal requirements. Website connections use HTTPS to protect information in transit. No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You can choose not to submit the form and contact Kim another way. To ask about information you have shared, request a correction or request deletion, email kimsgiles@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity, and some records may need to be retained for legal or business reasons. For information held directly by Square or another external provider, contact that provider as appropriate.
Children’s information
This website is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should contact Kim on a child’s behalf when arranging a service for a child.
